PIONEER HPM100 Speakers in beautiful condition Photo 160990 Canuck New Listing Pioneer HPM-100 Floor Speaker Grill Cover & Badge Vintage (1 Grill) Pre-Owned · Pioneer I have had my HPM 100's since 1977 while in Germany in the ARMY, they still look pristine & sound as good as the day I bought them, I have a pair of "liquid cooled, Acoustic Monitor DBIV speakers" & the HPM's blow them away, but they do sound good, the HPM 100's are tried, trued & tested, & THEY STILL PASS THE TEST!!!.

And when I say loud, I mean insanely painfully loud I have to get a 270wpc SX-1980 to drive 4 of these things to their full capability! I remain skeptical about other speakers able to acheive the volume that these can without distortion.
